Members of the original Broadway cast of GRAND HOTEL are set to reunite a one-night only 25th anniversary concert as part of the 54 Sings series on May 24 at 54 Below.

Both the 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. performances will include original cast members Liliane Montevecchi, Karen Akers, David Jackson, David White and others as they break out the champagne in salute to the score by Robert Wright and George Forrest and a book by Luther Davis. Tony Award winner Maury Yeston will also bring additional material to the concert directed by Walter Willison.

Based on the novel and play by Vicki Baum, GRAND HOTEL began previews at the Martin Beck Theatre on October 16, 1989 and later transferred to the Gershwin Theatre to complete its total run of 1,017 performances and 31 previews. The musical, directed and choreographed by Tommy Tune won five Tony Awards including Best Direction of a Musical, Best Choreography, and Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical, Michael Jeter.
