Lesli Margherita Signs On for ABC Pilot MOST LIKELY TO
Deadline has revealed that Tony Award-nominee and Twitter favorite, Lesli Margherita has signed on to co-star opposite Yvette Nicole Brown in a new pilot for ABC titled Most Likely To.
According to the report, Margherita will play Liz Cooney, a former high school popular girl who finds herself reunited with former high school zero, Markie.
After her marriage falls apart, Liz moves from Los Angeles and finds herself sharing a home and a life with Markie as they navigate single motherhood together.
Lesli Margherita is the recipient of the Olivier Award for her West End debut as Inez in Zorro The Musical. She originated the roles of Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda on Broadway and Mona Kent in Dames at Sea. Her most recent stage credit was playing the title role iin the zany holiday play, Who's Holiday. She can currently be seen on the Showtime series, Homeland, as Sharon Aldright.
