Harboring Hearts will host its 2nd Annual Summer Soiree at The Rubin Museum of Art in Chelsea (150 West 17 Street) on Monday, June 23, 2014. This year's benefit will feature a live musical performance by Tony Award Winner Actress Lena Hall, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a CharityBuzz auction. The night will honorheart transplant recipient and advocate Michael Kutcher, Evercore Founder and Executive Chairman Roger Altman, Columbia University Medical Center Dean of the Faculties of Health Sciences and Medicine Dr. Lee Goldman, and Director of the Outpatient Pediatric Dyrsrhythmia Center at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore Dr. Christine Walsh for their great contributions and heart health advocacy.

Harboring Hearts' co-founders Michelle Javian and Yuki Kotani, Vice President Deirdre Lombardi and the Host Committee members Thom Filicia and Greg Calejo, Mick Rock, Patrick McMullan Amy Sacco, Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant, Eric Trump, Ann Dexter-Jones, Peter Davis, George Wayne, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Cristina Civetta, and Bobby Kennedy III, will be in attendance. Tony Award winning star of Hedwig & The Angry Inch Lena Hall will perform with The Deafening's guitarist Burt Rock and pianist Lance Horne during the soiree, which will also include DJ sets from Tennessee Thomas and Timo & Alan.

Harboring Hearts is a charity dedicated to providing affordable, short-terms accommodations along with additional financial and emotional support for critically ill heart patients and their families at the time of treatment. Working closely with cardiology and transplant teams at the finest NY hospitals through the Emergency Program the charity established, Harboring Hearts provides targeted financial interventions that are tailored to meet specific housing and other urgent needs for those they serve. Educational and recreational programs are also organized in hospitals to cultivate community and encourage heart health living. The New York Observer recently named Harboring Hearts co-founder Michelle Javian one of the 20 Most Influential Young Philanthropists and CNN Heroes highlighted the charity this month.
