Variety reports that Frank Langella, the 2007 Tony Award winner for Best Actor in a Play for his work in Frost/Nixon, will return to the Broadway stage in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of A Man For All Seasons.

Doug Hughes who last directed Doubt, will direct the Roundabout Theater Company production, which opens at the American Airlines Theater in October.

Frank Langella will play Thomas More, the 16th century English chancellor who objected to King Henry VIII's break from the Catholic Church, in the 1960 historical drama by Robert Bolt. Langella  also won the Tony for his performances in Fortune's Fool in 2002 and his Broadway debut Seascape in 1975. He will star in the upcoming Ron Howard directed feature film adaptation of "Frost/Nixon," which is set for a Dec. 2008 release.

Roundabout staging of  A Man for All Seasons will be the first Broadway revival for Bolt's play, which was made into a 1966 film that starred Paul Scofield in the role he created on the West End in 1960 and repeated it on Broadway in 1961.

No other casting for the Roundabout revival has been confirmed. Creative team will include Santo Loquasto for set design, Catherine Zuber costumes and lighting design by David Lander.

The limited engagement begins previews Sept. 12th, ahead of a Oct. 7th 2008 opening.
