Lacey Upton & Danielle Naugler Take to the Stage at Laurie Beechman Theatre, 1/26
Character actresses and classic foils, friends for years, and fellow Boston born and raised Boston College graduates, Lacey Upton and Danielle Naugler take to the stage at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Tuesday, January 26th at 7PM. Watch as these two young ladies share their hilarious and heartwarming tale of traversing from Beantown to the Big Apple in pursuit of their big time musical theatre dreams.
Lacey Upton (pictured left) who will play Jill/Susan in The Distance Between at The Producer's Club next month and was seen as The Voice in last year's premiere of Birdseed with Saperstein Productions, has performed regionally with the New Bedford Festival Theatre, The Gold Dust Orphans of Boston, Boston Theatre Works, and The Reagle Players of Waltham. Recent credits include Carrie in Carousel, Old Lady in Candide,and Meredith in Bat Boy: The Musical.
Danielle Naugler (below) has appeared extensively throughout the Boston area, most recently
getting rave notices for playing Minnie Fay in Hello Dolly! opposite Broadway's Rachel York as
Dolly. Featured among fellow Boston College alumni under the direction of Broadway's Mary-Mitchell Campbell in a benefit concert of Songs For A New World last spring, her additional credits include Yonah in Children of Eden, Shelly inBat Boy: The Musical, and Little Becky Twoshoes in Urinetown.
The show will feature musical direction by Sam Willmott and direction by Will Nunziata.
