LINCOLN CENTER DIALOGUE Season Begins Today, 10/3

Providing an opportunity to hear key leaders discussing significant issues facing American society, Lincoln Center's spoken word series Lincoln Center Dialogue will begin its second season today, October 3rd in the David Rubenstein Atrium. These programs take place over breakfast, welcoming early risers and inviting audiences to discover Lincoln Center well before curtains go up. The three conversations, moderated by the president of Lincoln Center, Reynold Levy, will focus on the challenges of leadership in the university, museum, and public policy arenas. WNET, WLIW and NJ Network will again air the Dialogues (check local listings for date and time). Members of the live audience in the intimate venue will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.

Commented Mr. Levy, "This second Dialogue series offers an intimate forum for high-level discourse from major figures who are shaping and defining our culture. By partnering with WNET, Lincoln Center will also help realize its commitment to reaching the broadest possible audience in its programming."

The second Dialogue season opens on Wednesday, October 3rd, with a conversation between John Sexton, President, New York University, and Drew Faust, President, Harvard University, two exceptional leaders of major universities at defining moments in their histories.

One week later on October 10th, Michael Govan, CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Tom Campbell, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will discuss the challenges of running major museums on both coasts.

Finally, Richard Haass, President, Council on Foreign Relations, and Nan Keohane, Laurence S. Rockefeller Distinguished Visiting Professor of Public Affairs and the University Center for Human Values, Princeton University, and former president of Duke University, will round out the fall Dialogues by speaking on public policy leadership issues on November 7th, the morning after the 2012 Presidential election.

The Lincoln Center Dialogue breakfast series will be held at the David Rubenstein Atrium on Wednesdays from 7:30 (breakfast) to 9:00 am (8 to 9 am, discussion).
