LGBT Network President & Transgender Community to Discuss Trump's Ban on Transgender People

New York's LGBT Network President and transgender community will hold a press conference on Trump's latest ban on transgender people in the armed military service. A major protest of Trump's visit to Long Island will be announced.

The press conference will be held at the LGBT Network, 20 Crossways Park Drive North, Woodbury, NY 11797 today, Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 at 2PM

The press conference will discuss the major controversy surrounding Trump's proposed ban on transgender military personal, including his inflammatory comments that transgender soldiers are a burden and disruption to the U.S. Military, and local reaction to what the LGBT community thinks of President Trump coming to Long Island on Friday.

David Kilmnick, President and Chief Executive of the New York LGBT Network, will be joined by local members from the transgender LGBT community. There will a former member of the armed services who is transgender attending.
