LET ME SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU Opens at the United Solo Festival

Todd Cerveris will be presenting his solo show, LET ME SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU as an official selection of the 2017 United Solo Festival, Saturday, October 14th @ 7:30pm at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street & 9th Avenue, New York City.

Written and performed by Cerveris (South Pacific, Southern Comfort, The Booth Variations), directed by Adam Natale (director of Chelsea's SVA Theatre), and featuring music by musician and singer/songwriter Freddy Hall (Beautiful, Spring Awakening, Freddy Hall and the Best Intentions), LET ME SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU is the story of one man's search for meaning in the tunnels of the NYC subway with nothing but the aid a handheld digital game of Scrabble. A smart, fast-paced, and hilarious performance, LET ME SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU delves into the psyche of one lost and lonely commuter as he navigates his own existential crisis in seven-letter words, with a digital device which has - unexpectedly and inexplicably - taken on a life of its own.

The meaning of life? Our purpose here on Earth? How to tell a good joke? These are all important questions he debates with his Palm Pilot. What starts out as a harmless way to pass the time becomes an addiction. Then an obsession. Then a revelation.
