L.A. Theatre Works' THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES Wins 2015 Audie Award

L.A. Theatre Works' audio production of "The Hound of the Baskervilles" beat out four other finalists to capture the 2015 Audie Award in the Audio Drama category. The sixth winfor the Los Angeles group was announced by the Audio Publishers Association (APA) yesterday at its 20th Audie Awards Gala in New York City.

"We are absolutely thrilled and honored for this great honor from the APA," said L.A. Theatre Works' Producing Director Susan Albert Loewenberg."We congratulate our actors, playwrights and production staff. We wouldn't be here without them and our faithful and amazing fans."

The Audie, equivalent to Oscars of spoken word entertainment, was awarded in 32 categories for outstanding achievement in audiobook production.

For L.A. Theatre Works, the famous Sherlock Holmes story, "The Hound of the Baskervilles," by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was adapted by David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright.

It was performed by Geoffrey Arend, Wilson Bethel, Seamus Dever, Sarah Drew, Henri Lubatti, James Marsters, Christopher Neame, Moira Quirk and Darren Richardson.
