Award-winning composer/lyricist Keith Varney will present "Inappropriate for an Office," a concert of his original songs, at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Monday, March 7th at 7pm.

Joining Varney onstage are Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Submissions Only), Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde, Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search for Elle Woods), Howie Michael Smith (Avenue Q) and Brad Nacht (Billy Elliot).

Keith Varney's musical, I Got Fired: A Semi-Autobiographical Sort-of-True Revenge Musical played to sold-out audiences at NYMF 2010. The New York Post called the show "clever and tuneful," and Backstage.com hailed it as "painfully relevant." I Got Fired subsequently won both the Theater for the American Musical Award and the DIMF Production Award (which includes a full production with South
Korea's Daegu International Musical Festival).

The March 7th concert will feature several songs from I Got Fired, as well as pieces from Varney's other musicals, Elway, Joshua and Scooby-Doosical. Rounding out the cast are Shana Barone, Robyn
Corujo, Devon Goffman, Collin Leydon, Matt Lutz, Derek Roland and EJ Zimmerman, with accompaniment by Andrew Smithson (piano) and Michael Indeglio (guitar).

Tickets for the concert are $15 (with a $15 food/drink minimum). The show will be presented Monday, March 7 at 7pm, at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within the West Bank Café, at 407 West 42nd St. To make reservations (recommended), please call (212) 695-6909.
