June Events Announced For the Staten Island Children’s Museum

In honor of National Dairy Month, each Friday in June our Health Plus Kidz Cook workshops feature delicious recipes using dairy products. Buttermilk biscuits and ice cream pie are some of the treats kids are cooking this month. Up4Art workshops continue each weekend this month, kids and families will love learning about and creating works of art using printing techniques, etching and tin with visiting working artists Ryan McGivern and Janice Patrignani. Wednesday, June 29 is a Northfield Bank Cool School Holiday, with free admission for all. Also on that date are special performances by the Kids Project, a live action puppet show which teaches kids about accepting differences and understanding kids with disabilities, performances are free with regular museum admission.
