John Tartaglia & The Imaginocean Cast Perform At Books Of Wonder May 29
John Tartaglia and the Imaginocean cast are set to appear at Books Of Wonder on May 29. At the event Tartaglia will read a 'fish story' and show video clips from Imaginocean. There will aso be games and a puppet performance.
Imaginocean is a one-of-a-kind live black-light puppet show, the show is an undersea adventure for kids of all ages. Tank, Bubbles and Dorsel and three best friends who just happen to be fish, and they're about to set out on a remarkable journey of discovery. And it all starts with a treasure map. As they swim off in search of clues, they'll sing, they'll dance, and they'll make new friends, including everyone in the audience. Ultimately they discover the greatest treasure of all: friendship.
John Tartaglia is executive producer and star of "Johnny and the Sprites" (now airing worldwide). Tartaglia earned a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Avenue Q, for which he originated the roles of Princeton and Rod. Tartaglia was recently seen on Broadway starring as Lumiere in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Most recently, John originated the role of Pinocchio in the smash Broadway hit Shrek The Musical. A 10-year veteran of "Sesame Street," Tartaglia is one of the youngest puppeteers ever to perform on the show, starting at the age of 16. In addition to his work on "Sesame Street," he also starred in Sesame Workshop's innovative English as a Foreign Language project, "Sesame English," which currently airs worldwide. Tartaglia has also appeared on Disney Channel's "Bear in the Big Blue House" and "JoJo's Circus" and Discovery Channel's "Animal Jam." He is a past host of the New York Philharmonic Young People's Concerts. John is also the creative force behind John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean opening on Oasis of the Seas.
