Jo Weldon to Guest Star at November GOTHAM BURLESQUE

The November edition of GOTHAM BURLESQUE, taking place on Saturday, November 5th at 9:30PM at the Triad Theater will be headlined by burlesque star JO WELDON as well as GAL FRIDAY & PEEKABOO POINTE who will both compete in a thrilling Tassle-Twirling Showdown. This edition of GOTHAM BURLESQUE will be hosted by New York City drag star SWEETIE.

Presented by award-winning filmmaker, artist, and producer Gary Beeber, GOTHAM BURLESQUE is an exciting evening of song, dance, tricks and visual treats that plays the first Saturday of each month with a different cast at the intimate Upper West Side venue, offering audiences a taste of a wide range of live entertainments from both established and up and coming performers and acts.

Joining JO WELDON, GAL FRIDAY, PEEKABOO POINTE and SWEETIE on November 5th will be The World's Fastest and Most Accurate Knife-Thrower THE GREAT THROWDINI, Contortionist EKATERINA, Madame RoseBUD, TANSY TANDORA and stage kitten Dangrrr Doll.

Gary Beeber is an award-winning American filmmaker whose documentaries Dirty Martini and the New Burlesque, Bally-Master, and Messenger have screened in over 50 festivals and won countless awards at the FirstGlance Film Festival, the DC Independent Film Festival, the Staten Island Film Festival, and the Coney Island Film Festival. Prior to devoting his energies to documentaries, he was a photographer and producer of art videos which were shown in 70 galleries and exhibitions worldwide, and several of his works are in corporate collections here in the city at Goldman Sachs, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, and Chase.

GOTHAM BURLESQUE will play the first Saturday of every month at the Triad Theater (158 West 72nd Street), with November's performance taking place on Saturday, November 5th at 9:30PM.
