The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee star Jesse Tyler Ferguson will take part in a free April 24th reading of Critical Darling playwright's Barry Levey's new drama All the Way from China. The play will be presented at Ars Nova (511 W. 54th St.) as part of the Out Loud series of readings at 7 PM.

"Bella knew she'd have to be patient while her slacker boyfriend, Jack, mourned his last girlfriend, killed in an unsolved murder back in college. What she didn't know, until an old classmate showed up, was that Jack was the only named suspect in the crime. A psychological thriller that ponders how we achieve catharsis when we can't achieve closure, and which is worse: being suspected of murder or not even being considered?," state notes on the play, which will be directed by Suzanne Agis and also feature Maria Dizzia and Brian Slaten.

Ferguson previously appeared on Broadway in On the Town and was recently seen in the Actors' Fund benefit concert of On the Twentieth Century. His off-Broadway credits include Where Do We Live?, Michael John LaChiusa's Little Fish, Newyorkers and Kean (as well as in the pre-Broadway On the Town at the Public Theatre).

Reservations for the free reading may be made by calling (212) 977-1700. For more information, visit www.arsnovanyc.org.
