Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown brings his explosive solo show downtown. Featuring Tony Award-winning star of stage and screen Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls) and an eight-piece band, this high-energy and passion-filled performance will include songs from Jason's acclaimed musicals (such as Songs for a New World, Parade, The Last Five Years, and 13) as well as his solo albums and upcoming projects. Mark Shenton in The Stage UK writes that "Brown is the closest that the musical theatre has to a composer who is not only the best performer advocate for his own work, but also has a geeky rock star charisma that ideally matches the alternately acerbic and longing views of relationships his songs so beautifully articulate.
