Jason McCoy Gallery Presents the LI-LAN: FIVE DECADES Closing Event with Carter Ratcliff Tonight

Tonight, April 24, 5:30-8:30pm, join us for a closing event in celebration of Li-lan: Five Decades-an exhibition of key works from the past 50 years by the acclaimed American painter-at Jason McCoy Gallery. Lauded poet, art writer, teacher, and lecturer Carter Ratcliff-author of the recently published first major monograph on Li-lan, The Art of Li-lan: A World Achieved-will speak on his collaboration with the artist.

Li-lan will present a bespoke linen-bound special edition of the monograph with a signed limited edition print, which accompanied the cohesive survey of Li-lan's oeuvre-featuring major paintings and pastels on paper from the past five decades.

An assortment of special treats, created by Chef Fred Hua of The Southside Supper Club, will be served throughout the evening. Following the New York exhibition, Li-lan's work will be shown in Taipei July 5-27, 2014 at Tina Keng Gallery, in the exhibition A World Achieved.
