Jacob Melchoir Holds CD Release/Birthday Party at Smalls Jazz Club, 7/23

On Friday, July 23, from 7:30 to 9:15pm, Jacob Melchior will hold a CD Release/40th Birthday Party at Smalls Jazz Club 183 West 10th Street at 7th Ave, NYC. For venue information, please visit http://www.smallsjazzclub.com.
The CD is called "It's About Time" it features Tadataka Unno on piano and Hassan JJ Shakur on bass.
The music is a collection of jazz standards sprinkled with a little Bossa Nova, Calypso, a Michael Jackson tune and some music the band came up with.
Frank Senior sings a version of "For All We Know" -- he too will be at the release party and will sing a couple of songs.
