On April 10th, the LAByrinth Theater Company's Jack Goes Boating will offer audiences the chance to meet members of the new play's artistic team.

The "Meet the Artists" event will follow a 7 PM benefit performance of Jack Goes Boating, written by Bob Glaudini.  All proceeds will benefit LAByrinth Theater Company's 15th anniversary season, hosted by The Public Theater.

"Laced with cooking classes, swimming lessons and a smorgasbord of illegal drugs, Jack Goes Boating is a story of date panic, marital meltdown, betrayal and the prevailing grace of the human spirit," state press materials.   Recent Callaway Award Winner Peter Dubois directs co-artistic directors Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz alongside Daphne Rubin-Vega and Beth Cole.

Originally slated for a run through April 8th, Jack Goes Boating is playing at the Public Theater through April 8th.  It began previews on February 27th and opened on March 18th.

Tickets are $125 ($50 tax-deductible) or $175 ($100 tax-deductible) for preferred seating; call (212) 513-1014 or e-mail Lyssa@labtheater.org.
