Irish Folk Trio Amble to Play Headlining U.S. Tour
Various ticket presales begin Wednesday, May 6, at 9:00 AM local time, while general on-sale launches Friday, May 8, at 9:00AM local time.
Modern Irish folk trio Amble will be hitting the road for their biggest U.S. tour yet. The fall headlining run will kick off with Los Angeles’ Belasco Theater on October 23. Various ticket presales begin Wednesday, May 6, at 9:00 AM local time, while general on-sale launches Friday, May 8, at 9:00AM local time HERE.
The 15-date tour, currently set to wrap in Dallas at The Echo on November 18, will follow a run of already announced stateside dates. Amble will make their Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville on June 11. Several marquee festival appearances will follow including Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands. In between, they’ll be joining Ed Sheeran for select dates on his U.S. stadium tour, and headlining a series of nearly sold-out, more intimate nights.
In 2025, Amble toured U.S. arenas with Hozier, amassed 151 million global streams, sold 130,000 headline tickets, and released their album debut Reverie, the chart-topping, #1 selling Irish album and Spotify’s most-streamed album of the year in Ireland.
The album was the most successful and impactful Irish debut since 2019, and featured fan-favorite songs like “Lonely Island,” “Mary’s Pub,” and “Schoolyard Days.” In December, the trio celebrated by headlining three sold-out nights at Dublin’s 3Arena, playing to over 40,000 fans.
Amble, consisting of Robbie Cunningham (lead vocals/guitar), Ross McNerney (mandolin/bouzouki), and Oisin McCaffrey (guitar/vocals), recently won at Ireland’s RTÉ Choice Music Prize last month, taking home awards for Single of the Year (“Schoolyard Days”) and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. At present, they’re currently supporting Dermot Kennedy in Europe and the U.K., with additional overseas dates ahead continuing their world tour, which has sold out venues across Europe, the U.K., Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
