David Wilmot, who stars in the title role of Broadway's The Lieutenant of Inishmore, will be featured on NY-1's "On Stage" this Saturday 6/3 and Sunday 6/4 at 9:30am and 7:30pm, and Monday 6/5 at 9:30pm and 12:30am. "On Stage" correspondent Patrick Pacheco will talk with Wilmot about his role in Broadway's funniest comedy.
In addition, Mihail Gartenberg of "Studio A" will interview Wilmot on WKCR-fm Radio (89.9fm) on Monday, June 5 at 9:30pm.
The Lieutenant of Inishmore
has received five Tony Award® nominations: Best Play, Best Direction of
a Play – Wilson Milam, Best Actor in a Play – Wilmot, Best
Featured Actor in a Play – Domhnall Gleeson, Best Featured Actress in a
Play – Alison Pill. And, playwright Martin McDonagh,
won a 2006 Village Voice Obie Award, Off Broadway's highest honor.
Wilmot, Gleeson and Pill are all making their Broadway debuts in the
play.
