Idina Menzel Lines Up TV Appearances, March 8 & 10

Tony Award-winning Rent and Wicked star Idina Menzel will be interviewed on "Live with Regis and Kelly" on March 10th.
Menzel will discuss her role in the upcoming film Ask the Dust, a period drama starring Colin Farrell and Salma Hayek. "Sex and the City" and The Shaggy Dog star Kristin Davis will also be featured on the popular morning chat show, which airs on WABC-TV Channel 7 from 9-10 AM ET in the Metro area (check local listings).In addition, the busy Menzel will be featured on "The CBS Early Show" on March 8th at 8:50 AM ET.Menzel, who most recently was seen in the Public Theater's production of Michael John LaChiusa's See What I Wanna See, also recently reprised her star-making (and Tony-nominated) performance as Maureen in the film version of Rent. She received the 2004 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her turn as Elphaba in Wicked. Menzel, who is well-known for her belting prowess, also played Amneris in Broadway's Aida, portrayed Kate in Andrew Lippa's off-Broadway musical The Wild Party and appeared in the City Center Encores! production of Hair, as well as in the Actors' Fund Benefit Concert of Funny Girl.Videos
