According to The New York Post, soon-to-be host of THE LATE LATE SHOW, James Corden confessed that he has a 'weird crush' on Hillary Clinton at last night's Glamour's Women of the Year awards held at New York's Carnegie Hall. Clinton was in attendance in support of her daughter, Chelsea, who was being honored.

Revealed the Tony Award winner, "There is one woman here who I cannot take my eyes off, and there's one reason: It's because she's been undressing me with her eyes. You know how on Instagram they have weird-crush Wednesdays? You're my weird crush everyday."

He went on to add, "I want to be your ambassador for defense, secretary for offense, I want to be your minister of romance. You're a mom I'd like to follow into the White House."

No details were shared as to how Clinton responded to the flattering shout-out!

Beginning in 2015, Corden will take over hosting duties for CBS's Craig Ferguson on THE LATE LATE SHOW. The actor will soon be seen in Disney's highly anticipated big screen adaptation of 'Into the Woods' as 'The Baker', and recently starred opposite Keira Knightley in 'Begin Again.'

Corden's theatre work includes One Man, Two Guvnors (National Theatre) and The History Boys (National Theatre, Broadway and international tour), the West End's Martin Guerre in 1996 and Love Life at London FRINGE in 1991. On TV he has appeared in The Brit Awards, A League of Their Own, and Gavin and Stacey (co-creator and co-writer), which won the BAFTA Award for Television Programme of the Year and British Comedy Award for Best New Scripted Comedy. Corden has also won the Writers Guild of Great Britain Award for Comedy Writer of the Year, South Bank Show Award for Comedy, Tric Award for Best Comedy and the National Television Award 2010 for Best Comedy.
