Thaddeus McCants and Jarielle Whitney will be 'In the Room, Waiting' at the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival, presented August 1st at 4:00 PM, August 3rd at 7:30 PM, and August 6th at 3:00 PM PM at The Theater at 14th St. Y.

This "moving and funny look at fate, choice, and compassion" was written by Thaddeus McCants, who will star in the show along with Whitney, Justin Moore, Tangela Wilson, Barry Gibbs, Zahaira Curiel, and Melissa Green. Directed by Tyler Gardella, with Scenic Design by Parker Pogue and Lighting Design by Jon Degaetano

"Everyone who comes into a hospital is forced to wait; Malcolm and Aisha are no different. As they await the results of a pregnancy evaluation, Malcolm and Aisha's decision whether or not to bring a life into this world escalates past the point of no return. As people file in-and-out from every walk of life, and every corner of crazy, they unknowingly have a resounding impact on our young couple's decision, and maybe on the rest of their lives."

The Festival, with a goal of becoming a launching pad for regional, Off-Broadway, and Broadway transfers, runs July 30-August 20. For tickets, priced $25, visit broadwayboundfestival.com/book-online.
