After a surprising results last week, four contestants still remain. This week the ladies will be singing song from now and then. The first round will be songs from 2013 while the second will be standards. The mentor was Harry Connick Jr.

First up was Angie singing a Rihanna song for the second week in a row. This time it was Diamonds. She slowed it down a bit and played her piano. I really appreciated that she was able to take a song that is so upbeat and make it acoustic. The judges did not really like the performance saying that it was bland and didn't ave a peak.

The 2013 hit that Amber chose to sing was Just Give Me a Reason by Pink. This is a great song and Amber did have a little trouble with it. She seemed to be a bit lost and didn't have much of a connection. Nicki said that she needs to have more fun with the songs that sh is singing.

It was then time for Candice to sing When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars. Even though it is sung from a man's point of view, she knocked it out of the park. It was hard to find any flaws in the performance and the judges agreed.

The final performance of the first round belonged to Kree. She went with a Carrie Underwood song called See You Again. This was the first time hearing this song and it was a nice tune. Last week, Kree had trouble with connecting with the audience. I would say that problem has gone away. It was a good performance.

The second round kicked off with Angie. She chose to sing Someone to Watch Over Me. Once again, she turned out another great performance. The judges enjoyed it as well. Nicki said that she sounds like a Disney singer.

My Funny Valentine was the song choice for Amber. It was a wonderful which lead to a standing ovation. Amber was a bit overwhelmed and she shed some tears, but the judges reassured her that she did a fantastic job.

For me the winner of the first round was Candice. She was up again and she decided to sing You've Changed by Billie Holiday. To no one's surprise it was another flawless performance and she received her second standing ovation of the night. Randy said it best: She is in it to win it.

Last but not least was Kree and she went with the classic song Stormy Weather. With that performance, it is clear that Kree will not go down without a fight. It was a good performance, but a better song would have given her a better performance.

The night ended with a performance from the top 4. As they did last week, they sounded great together and it is easy to see why they make up the top 4.

Tomorrow night two will be eliminated due to no one being eliminated last week. Tune in to see which two will be in the season finale.
