Holmes, Johansson Want to Make a Move to the West End

According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, stage and screen stars Katie Holmes and  Scarlett Johansson have both expressed interest in doing a West End play.

Holmes made her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons in September 2008.  first achieved fame for her role as Joey Potter on The WB television teen drama Dawson's Creek from 1998 to 2003. Her movie roles have ranged from art house films such as The Ice Storm to thrillers such as Abandon to blockbusters such as Batman Begins.

Johansson made her first stage appearance in the Off Broadway play Sophistry. In 2009, Johansson made her debut on Broadway, as Catherine Carbone in the drama A View from the Bridge, written by Arthur Miller and directed by Gregory Mosher. Liev Schreiber played opposite her. Johansson was nominated for and won the 2010 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her role in the play.
