The Historic House Trust of NYC is calling all history buffs to join the "Curatorial Brigade".

Join the Historic House Trust of NYC Roof Raisers to learn how to take care of historic collections and become a member of the Curatorial Brigade, helping to preserve New York City's history. Members will learn how to perform tasks such as handling historical objects, collections storage, housekeeping in period rooms, documentation and research, photography, and inventory of historic collections.

Classes will be held in all 5 boroughs:

June 4 - King Manor Museum, Queens
June 11 - Lefferts Historic House, Brooklyn
June 12 - Historic Richmond Town, Staten Island
June 25 - Morris-Jumel Mansion Museum, Manhattan
June 28 - Van Cortlandt House Museum, Bronx

TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The Historic House Trust of New York City (HHT) is a nonprofit organization that operates in tandem with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to aid in and insure the preservation of 23 City-owned historic properties located in parks in all five boroughs.
