According to the New York Times, a Harry Potter parody play titled POTTED POTTER, which is currently playing at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre, might move to New York this summer. The two-man show, starring Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, is looking to open at off-Broadway's Little Shubert Theatre.

Producer Corey Ross tol the NYT that he's 'hopeful that deals would come together with potential investors and the show’s creators and performers, Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, to open Off Broadway at the Little Shubert Theater by the time school vacations had begun.'

In the show, Dan and Jeff take on the ultimate challenge, with the help of endless costumes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props, and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. This fantastically funny show features all your favourite characters, a special appearance from a very frightening fire-breathing dragon, and even a game of Quidditch involving the audience. This show was first seen in 2006, and is playing an international tour in 2012. A must-see for Potter addicts, and a great introduction to the series for anyone who’s ever wondered what all the fuss is about.

Dan and Jeff are best known for their TV appearances on CBBC and Blue Peter. They were nominated earlier this year for the prestigious Best Entertainment Olivier Award.
