A concert version of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Once On This Island will hit the stage on May 16th at 7:30pm at the York Theatre. The concert will be performed in connection with Asian Heritage Month and will be directed by original cast member Gerry McIntyre. Randy Redd will serve as musical director.

The concert will feature a cast of Asian-American Broadway stars. Ann Harada, Jose Llana, Yuka Takara, Telly Leung, Christine Toy Johnson, Paolo Montallban, Jason Ma and Kylie Liya Goldstein are all set for the concert.

The musical features book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty. Aherns and Flaherty are best known for creating Ragtime, Seussical and A Man of No Importance.
