HAVANA NOCHES Comes to Rialto World Music Festival

A six-member cuban band transmitting the energy, enthusiasm and passion of Latin music. The band was formed in Cyprus by drummer percussionist Constadinos Paouros and participate musicians from Cuba, Colombia, and Cyprus. Their music is based on authentic Cuban music genres such as son cubano, salsa, timba and cha cha.

Constadinos Paouros: timbales, drums, vocals
Αlex Εdward Rodriguez: piano, vocals
Μichalis Michael: trumpet
Costas Challoumas: upright bass
Alejandro Gonzalez: congas, vocals
Special guest - Pedro Son Caliente: vocals

The leader of the band Constantinos Paouros is a percussion instructor and worked as a professional drummer, performing in various concerts in Cyprus, as well as internationally, in London, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashdod, Thessaloniki and Athens.

He has collaborations as a drummer with famous musicians such Dionisis Savopoullos, Yiotis kiourtsoglou, Pantelis Thalassinos, Giannis Koutras, Dimitris Mbasis, Vassilis Lekas, Christos Nikolopoullos, Thanasis Polikandreiotis, Lakis Halkias, Kaliopi Veta, Kostas Makedonas and others.

Constantinos also plays as a musical member of the bands Tropical Spirit, Mr Wilson Band, Cuba Tropical, Funky Business, The Triple Soul Band, Methexis, Havana Vitral, Latin Connection, Horodia ton Oneiron and Diastasis Group.

At Rialto World Music Festival Havana Noche will play covers from Βuena Vista Social Club, Dizzy Gillespie, Poncho Sanchez, Chucho Valdez.
