Gregg Rogell Headlines Oyster Bay Comedy Night Tonight

Tonight, May 10, 2013 at 9pm, Periwinkles Catering and SGF Production have announced that Comedy Superstar and Long Island Native, Gregg Rogell will headline the show in the Comedy Series at Planting Fields (1395 Planting Fields Rd, Oyster Bay, NY).

Tickets to the show - which also features Peaches Rodriguez (International Touring Latina USO Comic and Break Dancer from Northport), Paul DeGrocco (b103 DJ from Babylon, LI Ducks) and Walt Frasier (Letterman, MTV, Dr Oz's, FAT PANTS and NOT from NY Knicks) - can be purchased for just $20-35 via OvationTix (866.811.4111).

Comedy fans have known Long Island Native, Gregg Rogell for years, making his first Tonight Show Appearance in 1993. Soon after he was featured on a Young Comedians TV special hosted by Bob Hope. Since then he has appeared on numerous shows including his own Comedy Central 30-minute special in 2003, Conan Obrien and most recently on "Surviving the Holidays with Lewis Black". Gregg gave one of the most memorable renditions of a classic joke in the 2005 Documentary "The Aristocrats". You also have seen Gregg as an actor on "The Nanny", "The Colin Quinn Show".

The event (and future performances in the series) is held bi-monthly at the Historic Hay Barn at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, Long Island's premier public arboretum and historic site located in Oyster Bay, New York. A former Gold Coast estate, the arboretum is comprised of 409 acres of greenhouses, rolling lawns, formal gardens, woodland paths, and outstanding plant collections.

Exclusive caters in the facility, Periwinkles offers a full bar plus gourmet sandwiches, finger foods and desserts. Periwinkles Catering also manages the Garden Café and numerous private events at the Arboretum.
