A starry cast--including Liz Callaway, Randy Graff and Malcolm Gets--has been assembled to headline the Reprise! Broadway's Best "Marvelous Musical Mondays" staged concert presentation of William Finn's Elegies: A Song Cycle.  The show will be performed at the UCLA Freud Playhouse on Monday, September 11 at 8 PM.

Joining Gets (Amour, A New Brain), Tony-nominee Callaway (Miss Saigon, Baby) and Tony-winner Graff (Fiddler on the Roof, City of Angels) will be Amick Byram (The Phanton of the Opera) and Daniel Tatar.

David Lee will direct Elegies, which will feature musical direction by Steven Smith. The show is billed by Reprise! as "an uplifting evening of witty and moving songs that serve as musical love letters, remembering the lives of those we've lost with joy and light, and the affirmation of every moment...Finn (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, A New Brain, Falsettos) writes about what made these people special, and illustrates why, as one of his songs puts it, 'life has infinite joys.'"

As part of "Marvelous Musical Mondays," Baby and It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman will also be presented.  The former, which will be directed by Chicago's Kevin Chamberlin, will be performed on February 7th, while the latter will be seen on May 14th.  My One and Only, Sunday in the Park with George and No Strings will comprise the regular Reprise! Broadway's Best line-up of staged concerts for 2006-2007.
