Gordon Edwards and Stuff Play James Allen Smith Fundraiser at 78 Below Tonight

A fundraiser for James Allen Smith will take place tonight, June 4 at 8pm at 78 BELOW. Jimmy has been hospitalized and everyone is pulling for his full recovery. In the meantime we want to take some of the stress out of his days.

Tonight, June 4, 2013, Gordon Edwards and Stuff ask all of you who can to come down to 78 Below to support their fundraiser to benefit Jimmy. Jimmy and Gordon go back over 40 years and he has played keyboards with Stuff for much of that time.

A great keyboardist, writer and arranger his musical pedigree is stellar - he has performed with, amongst others, Aretha Franklin, Ben E King, Wilson Pickett, Harry Belafonte, The Persuasions, Michael McDonald, The Doobie Brothers, Melba Moore, Chuck Rainey, Robert Palmer, Candi Staton and of course King Curtis.

The evening will start earlier than usual at 8pm and there will be many special guests sitting in to play throughout the night.
