On Saturday, August 23, Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, will hold its Theatre Treasures Tag Sale in the lobby of The Norma Terris Theatre. Doors open 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. If you're looking for something special to do this weekend be sure to stop by and check out the collection of distinctive collectables and vintage pieces that have been featured on Goodspeed's stage throughout the years.

The Norma Terris Theatre is located at 33 North Main Street in Chester, Connecticut.

The Theatre Treasures Tag Sale will live-up to its name with a wide variety of one-of-a kind items for sale, including decorative theatrical pieces from many of Goodspeed Musicals' past productions. This year's tag sale will feature unique props, one-of-a-kind set pieces and signs, furniture, china and other whimsical and wonderful specialty items, each with its own unique history.  Particular items of interest include a replica Model-T, a special set piece which was the highlight of last season's summertime splash High Button Shoes;  the sofa seen in the 2006 audience favorite Pirate of Penzance; and the dollhouse from the 2006 Opera House production of Pippin, which featured Mickey Dolenz.

Personal checks, cash, and credit cards will be accepted, making it easy to buy your own piece of theatrical history. Proceeds go to support Goodspeed Musicals' Education Program.
