The sale is set for Friday, June 26, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, live at Julien's Studios in Los Angeles and online.
Julien's Auctions has partnered with Turner Classic Movies (TCM) for The Ann Miller Collection, an online auction dedicated to the stage and screen performer. Featuring more than 200 items from the personal estate of the tap dancer and Golden Age musical star, the sale is set for Friday, June 26, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, live at Julien's Studios in Los Angeles and online here.
Miller's performing career spanned Broadway, television, and Hollywood's golden musical era of the 1940s and 1950s. She made her Broadway debut in 1939 with George White's Scandals and made a name for herself in the movies with titles like Room Service, You Can't Take It With You, and Easter Parade. She returned to Broadway in 1969 to play the title role in Mame, and later starred in 1980's Sugar Babies, for which she received a Tony nomination.
Auction highlights include Miller's signature fine jewelry: gold, diamond, and gemstone pieces alongside rhinestone suites, necklaces, and cocktail rings. Items from Christian Dior and Tiffany & Co. are also among her accessories. Theater fans can bid on her tap shoes and stage programs from Mame and Sugar Babies, as well as Dolly Levi jewelry - designed specifically for Miller - from Hello, Dolly! There are also rare artifacts from Miller's final film, David Lynch's Mulholland Drive, including a script and film poster personally signed by Lynch himself.
Among the collection's most singular treasures are a set of limited-edition Judith Leiber minaudières made exclusively for Miller, each bearing her name inside; a personal drawing created for Miller by actress Linda Darnell; and original orchestrations from Strike Up the Band and several of her television productions and films.
The collection also provides a window into Miller's world beyond the spotlight. An archive of personal and presidential correspondence includes letters from entertainment royalty, among them Ethel Merman and Jimmy Stewart, alongside rare photographs that document her career and the relationships she cultivated throughout her life.
Bidding is open to participants worldwide through four options: online at JuliensAuctions.com, by telephone through an auction house representative, in person at Julien's Studios in Los Angeles, or by advance absentee bid. To arrange telephone or absentee bidding, contact Julien's Auctions at 310-836-1818. The auction house also accepts cryptocurrency payments including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and several other digital currencies.
The Ann Miller Collection is part of Julien's summer season, with nearly 1,500 items spanning four major auctions.
