To enhance the Lincoln Center at the Movies experience for audiences of all ages, Lincoln Center Education has created interactive guides to accompany screenings of the Great American Dance series.

The guides are tailored for various audiences for use by: elementary school teachers, middle school teachers, high school teachers, families with children, after-school programs, and life-long learners.

The guides use videos, readings, images, and participatory activities to provide information about each company and work, including historical context, music, choreography, and design, to encourage discussion prior to and after seeing the performance.

The guide for the upcoming screening of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (October 22) is available now, as is the guide for San Francisco Ballet's Romeo & Juliet (screened September 24). Guides for Ballet Hispanico (November 12), and New York City Ballet (December 5 and 10) will be available prior to each screening.
