Due to a rearrangement of his schedule, Johnny Galecki will not miss the first two preview performances of Broadway's The Little Dog Laughed.

Galecki, who is putting the wraps on the CBS pilot "The Big Bang Theory," was originally announced to be absent for the performances, with his role to be filled by understudy Brian Henderson.  However, he has been able to reschedule filming, and will go on on October 26th and 27th, after all.

The Little Dog Laughs will begin performances at the Cort Theatre on October 26th for a November 13th opening.  In addition to Galecki and Julie White--both of whom starred in the original Off-Broadway staging at Second Stage, The Little Dog Laughed will feature film and TV star Tom Everett Scott and Ari Graynor.

Roy Gabay and Susan Dietz, in association with Second Stage Theatre, will present The Little Dog Laughed on Broadway.

The play began previews at Second Stage on December 13th, opened on January 9th and played to February 26th after having been extended. "Yes, we love the cinema for its great auteurs, its glorious faces, its daring images. But in this tabloid age where big stars go on Oprah and jump around like heartsick schoolboys, what we really love is all that dish!!! Carter Beane's players in The Little Dog Laughed includes a Hollywood agent, her very promising, up-and-coming boy-toy client, a sexy young drifter, and the drifter's girlfriend," stated press notes.

Scott Ellis (Twelve Angry Men) will once again direct. The design team will also remain the same for the transfer; it is comprised of Allen Moyer (sets), Jeff Mahshie (costumes), Donald Holder (lighting) and Lewis Flinn (sound).
