Full Cast Announced for White Plains' 'Man of La Mancha'

Casting has been completed for the forthcoming production of Man of La Mancha at White Plains Performing Arts Center.  This is a brand new production of the remarkable, Tony Award-winning musical based on Miguel de Cervantes' classic tale, "Don Quixote" and will be the inaugural production of the Broadway Classics series at the theatre. It will play November 29-December 16.

Robert Cuccioli is set to star as Don Quixote.  Joining him will be Rosena M. Hill (Aldonza), Carlos Lopez (Sancho), Robert Ousley (Innkeeper/Governor), Sidney J. Burgoyne (Padre), Richard Todd Adams (Dr. Carrasco), Patricia Noonan (Antonia), Deborah Jean Templin (Housekeeper), David Villella (Barber), Tony Falcon (Pedro), Derek Hanson (Anselmo) and featuring Denise Estrada, Jason Kaplan, Yurief Rodriguez, Nandita Shenoy, David Simmons, Simon Trumble and Jamaal-Clark Turpin.

Robert Cuccioli earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical for his work on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde. He won the Drama Desk and the Outer Critics Circle awards for that performance as well. Cuccioli also appeared in the Broadway production of Les Misérables and has been seen on screen in "Sliders," "Baywatch," "Celebrity," "The Stranger" and "Operation Delta Force 3: Clear Target." He recently starred in the Off-Broadway production of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, and his other recent theatrical credits include Guys and Dolls, Temporary Help, Lorenzaccio, The Sound of Music and the Actors' Fund benefit concert of On the Twentieth Century.

Man of La Mancha will be directed by Luke Yankee and choreographed by Devanand Janki.  Musical Director is Steven Gross, with scenery by Michael Hotopp, costumes by Carrie Robbins and Lighting by Thom Weaver. BJ Forman is Production Stage Manager.
