Fed up yet inspired by the trending "love to hate" mentality of an increasingly cynical society lost in a technology coma, Killy personalizes pop culture shock and earnestly explores a botoxicated community communicating in carefully edited tweets and meaningless memes. This one-of-a-kind, dark comedy musical incorporates non-traditional instruments, toys and (ironically) modern sound technology, combined with performance art and projection. This revolution will not be televised. It will evolve live in My BoX - please think outside.

Killy Dwyer (Writer/performer) is a mock$tar comedic performance artist and musician. With an extensive and impressive history in theater, improv, comedy and music, Killy became a notable figure in the LES alternative arts scene in 2009. Most recently, Killy was named one of the "Top 10 Women Who Rock Comedy" by FunnyNotSlutty.com and won "Most Magical Moment Of The Festival 2012" for her performance in the NY Funny Songs Festival. She starred in the feature film The Crab (for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at The Hoboken International Film Festival), successfully toured the west coast and Edinburgh Fringe with her latest solo show Girl Balls, runs the hugely popular monthly alternative variety show, Alter Ego - Vaudeville Surreal at Fontana's Bar and has been featured on the main stage at the NY Figment Festival (World's Largest Interactive Festival) with her band, KILL THE BAND 3 years in a row. This is Killy's 5th show as part of the FRIGID New York and Mini-Fridge Festivals and she won the Audience Choice Award in 2010 for the original "KILL THE BAND" theatrical show. Killy just released her new CD "Mock Bottom" with KILL THE BAND, available on iTunes or by visiting her website www.KILLYTHEKID.com.
