Fogler Sets Sail for Off-Bway's The Voyage of the Carcass

According to The New York Times, Tony Award-winner Dan Fogler will star in Dan O'Brien's The Voyage of the Carcass, which will sail to Off-Broadway's SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam St. between 6th and Varick) to begin previews on October 5th, open on October 16th and run through November 12th.

Directed by Randy Baruh, The Voyage of the Carcass follows an expedition to the North Pole.  Fogler was previously involved in an April reading of the piece that was held at the Culture Project.  The play was also seen at HERE Arts Center in 2002.

Fogler won a Tony Award for creating the role of William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and also played the role in C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, Spelling Bee's source play. New York credits include Joe Fearless, Bridges and Harmonies and Bobby Gould in Hell.  He will appear in numerous upcoming films, including The Marconi Bros., School for Scoundrels, Good Luck Chuck and Balls of Fury.
