Fashion Photo of the Day 9/27/13 - Julia Louis-Dreyfus

I saved my favorite for last of the Emmy Award red carpet pics: Julia Louis-Dreyfus. I know it is a cliche but she really does get better with age...like a fine wine...ok that's enough of that! But come one, doesn't she look FAB? This Monique Lhuillier gown is the epitome of awards show sophistication and glamour and Julia styled it to perfection by leaving everything else simple.

The pale pink color knocked it out of the park for me. If it was gold, she would have looked like the Emmy statue and if it was silver she might have looked like a giant disco ball. The soft pink is chic and adds interest to a beaded column dress. And to me what is so great about this dress is that it is completely timeless and could have been worn to any of the major awards show - Emmys, Golden Globes, SAG Awards or even the Oscars - and Julia would have still made my best dressed list.
