Fashion Photo of the Day 6/6/13 - Hailee Steinfeld

Remember when I blinked and Hailee Steinfeld grew up? And not only that, she's a stunning force on the carpet. I remember when a fourteen year old Steinfeld posed for the Miu Miu fall campaign and caused quite a stir. They were even banned by the ASA for featuring a child sitting in "an unsafe location." Whatever, those ads were fabulous and now two years later, Steinfeld is even more grown up and even more ready to take the fashion world by storm.
Case in point, the CFDA Fashion Awards. Steinfeld wore a Suno top and skirt that featured a fun and whimsical pattern. The look has a retro feel to it but the crop top paired with the full skirt keeps it from feeling old. Steinfeld styled it with chunky, metallic heels and a box clutch. The icing on the fashin cake was a pop of red on her lips. I love that she kept her hair down and natural. If she had it up it would have aged her and looked too "done."
