Elizabeth Stanley, who received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Gussie Carnegie in the 2012 Encores! revival of Merrily We Roll Along, will make her New York cabaret debut at the new Broadway nightclub 54 Below, on Sunday November 18th at 9pm.
 
Stanley made her Broadway debut as April in the 2006 revival of Stephen Sondheim's musical Company.  She has since starred in the original Broadway productions of Cry-Baby and Million Dollar Quartet, and originated "Kira" in the First National Tour of Xanadu.  She also appeared as 'The Nurse' in The Transport Group's 2011 Off-Broadway revival of Michael John LaChiusa's Hello Again.
 
Stanley's one night engagement will feature classic songs by Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Duke Ellington, as well as contemporary hits made popular by Sara Bareilles, Blondie, Dar Williams, and Pink.
 
Director Alexander Gemignani has starred on Broadway in The People in the Picture, Assassins, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park With George, and Les Miserables.  Recent TV credits include: "Homeland" and "The Good Wife".
