EDINBURGH 2017: BWW Q&A- Phoebe Walsh

Tell us a bit about I'll Have What She's Having.
It's a comedy show that looks at life and love and loneliness, so hopefully things that lots of people can relate to, but also probably specifically our generation.
Why bring it to Edinburgh?
I've wanted to make a live show for a few years but used to be too scared to do stand up, so I wrote articles and scripts instead. I finally managed to pluck myself out of a metaphorical and physical ditch and started doing live shows in London and had a good response, so the next logical thing to do is to go to Edinburgh.
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
I suppose it's different because it's my comic voice and 'I'm a unique and incredible human'- my mirror mantra.
Who would you recommend comes to see your show?
I think my show looks at universal issues so everyone can relate, but it's also specifically ideal for younger/18-35 audiences and it's also quite femalecentric.
Are there any other performances you're hoping to catch at the festival?
Nick Coyle's show will be funny AND spooky. Phil Dunning who I used to be in sketch group Oyster Eyes with, he's the most instinctively funny person I know and his show is so unique and the only time I'm ever truly happy is when I'm watching him or Love Island. Phil Wang's show is amazing, Tom Allen, Mae Martin, Rose Matafeo, Damien Slash, Giants, Johnny Really Really White.
