Tell us a bit about House of Pigs.
The House of Pigs is a character comedy show set in a seedy, underground cabaret bar called The House of Pigs. It's a mixture of disgusting characters and dried ham. If I can squeeze in a show tune, I'll absolutely do it mark my words. I do so much singing and dancing in the show but I can't sing or dance.
Why bring it to Edinburgh?
I like being stressed and crying every day.
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
It's a solo character comedy show with sass. There's literally sass all over the stage for a whole hour and I make no apologies about that. Sure some of the other shows at the fringe will have moments of sass. But The House of Pigs is ALL sass. It's actually too much sass. This girl needs to reign herself in.
Having performed last year do you think you know what to expect from the festival?
Yes pretty much. Wake up at 3pm every day. Have an oven pizza. Watch Pointless. Cry. Go and see a show. Do my show. Drink. Eat sleep rave repeat.
Who would you recommend comes to see you?
It's for anyone who likes surreal comedy, Disney, show tunes, wigs and sweaty comedians. It's not for anyone who doesn't like those things.
