EDINBURGH 2017: BWW Q&A- Micky Bartlett

Tell us a bit about your show.
My show this year is called "Typical". It's my brand new hour and so far I'm very proud of it. It's a lot more opinionated than my previous work and slightly angrier...but I'm blaming Teresa May and Arlene Foster for that.
Why bring it to Edinburgh?
I love coming to the fringe, for me it's the highlight of my year. Where else can you see some of the best comedians in the world AND drama students crying in the rain?
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
I'm the only Ginger Northern Irish comedian at the fringe this year. I think. Well I'm definitely the only one with psoriasis.
Who would you recommend comes to see you?
Anyone except kids. If you're a racist, you might not like it. I'm getting stuck in to those guys this year.
Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?
Mark Nelson - Irreverence
Kai Humphries - Punch Drunk
Paul Currie - Cats in my mouth
Timings and ticket information for Micky Bartlett: Typical are available on the edfringe website.
