Tell us a bit about Sagar Mega Drive

It's a light-hearted, fun, character comedy show! This year I'm bringing back my version of Pippa Middleton whose booty's barely rested since her wedding of the yah. Ever conscious of the need to share her wisdom and wealth of knowledge she's promoting her new book Singleton to Married Middleton. You'll also meet Mark, ultimate LAD. Business is going well and he's opened up a new pop up. Easy ladies! Food's unlikely to be served but plenty of advice will be dished out to the single birds. Margaret, substitute nursery teacher, is a new addition who has a unique way of interpreting information and texts for impressionable children. Princesa, the talking Chihuahua, is also having her debut and gives insight into what it's really like to be an adorable dog and what your pet most likely thinks of you. Then there's my Scottish Granny who is very busy putting the world to rights.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

I love the festival and I love Edinburgh! I came up last year with my first solo show "Entitled". I was chuffed to be nominated for Best Show Award by Funny Women. I learnt so much and want to build on that. My mum's from Lanarkshire so I have lots of family up here and relish the opportunity to get up to Scotland. I love the people, the food, the craic. In fact if you're looking for me I'll likely be in the queue for a fish supper most days.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

Well I'll be knocked sideways if there is another show with a talking chihuahua and a bloke rapping dating advice at women. Actually the latter is quite possible.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

I recommended 14+ just to cater for the odd c bomb. Joke! I don't drop the c bomb!! I don't think?! Seriously on the whole it's family friendly but the Granny character can get a bit riled up when provoked.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Oh so many! I'm part of To The Moon's Laugh or Cry ensemble of 5 female comedians at the Fringe this year - so I'll be seeing the other womens' shows!

Also, Sara Pascoe's new show, LadsLadsLads. Annie Sertich who is a main company Groundling's member in her devastatingly good show How to Not Kill Yourself for 30 Days... and the Next 330. Dane Baptiste's G.O.D (Gold.Oil.Drugs.) Tez Ilyas, Teztify. Sarah Kendall's show last year was in my top 3 so I want to see her current show One-Seventeen. Evelyn Mok: Hymen Manoeuvre. Tim Key always impresses me so will be checking out Work in Progress. The Free Association's Jacuzzi is always good fun. Of course there are many more I want to see but i've got to crack on with Sagar Mega Drive!

Timings and ticket information for Sagar Mega Drive are available on the edfringe website.
