EDINBURGH 2017: BWW Q&A- Doug Anthony All Stars

Tell us a bit about The Doug Anthony All Stars.
We are an Australian musical comedy trio. We fight, we sing, we love.
We are young (by geological standards).
We are old (by anyone's standards).
We are banned in Germany.
Why bring it to Edinburgh?
We won the Spirit Of The Fringe Award last year. In 2017, we are determined to lose it.
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
The nudity. The wickerman. The wheelchair.
No nets. No safety belts. No short term memory. No nets.
Who would you recommend comes to see you?
Anyone in need of cleansing through righteous fire. Also, drunk people.
Bring us your sick, your maimed, your frail. We can identify with those people.
Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?
Jerry Sadowitz is a god to us.
Alice Fraser - cerebral and wondrous.
Tom Ballard, because he's our son.
Al Murray, our favourite pub landlord
