Tell us a bit about For Money.

It's a stand up comedy show about being broke, hope and following your dreams. Over the course of an hour (50 minutes), I will lose my mind, despair at everything and then try and win £250,000. Plus jokes.

What was the inspiration behind the show?

That feeling you have when you wake up in the morning and go to make toast, you look in the bread bin and it's empty so you end up having crackers with jam on for breakfast, and you think to yourself "What have I become?".

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

The Edinburgh Festival has a 5 star rating on Tripadvisor, and that's from a total 16214 reviews, so it's no brainer. Although, Babbacombe model village in Torquay also has an average rating of 5 stars on Tripadvisor and i've been to that and it was well boring. It's a risk wherever you go.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

It's hard to say having not seen all the other shows at the Fringe, but I will be trying to win a chunk of money everyday. Just imagine if there's a hundred other shows doing the same thing. Can't really get bogged down with those types of thoughts can you? You'll go mad. It's a funny show. It's got a beginning, middle and end, and it's PWYW to get in. Actually, it sounds a lot like most other shows that are usually at the Fringe. So my final answer is - Nothing.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Ainsley Harriott. I think his laugh is infectious and would spread like wild fire through the rest of the crowd. Ainsley's energy would really spur me on and by week 3 you need that something extra. I wouldn't want him there weeks 1 and 2, it would feel unnecessary. Also, young people.
