Denyce Graves To Lead Rob Ashford's CAROUSEL At Lyric Opera Of Chicago In 2015

Acclaimed mezzo soprano Denyce Graves has been announced as a lead performer in popular director/choreographer Rob Ashford's upcoming production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical CAROUSEL at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in 2015.

Graves will essay the role of Nettie Fowler in the production, the character who sings one of the score's most cherished gems, "You'll Never Walk Alone".

Additionally, the Ashford-directed production will feature an orchestra led by noted conductor Rob Fisher.

Of note, news on further casting is not yet available.

CAROUSEL is set to premiere at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in April, 2015.
