Denham's Play cagelove Extends Run Through June 25

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced a one week extension of cagelove, the new play by Red Light Winter star Christopher Denhan, directed by Red Light Winter playwright Adam Rapp. cagelove will now run through Sunday, June 25th.

"In cagelove, Sam's fiancée Katie has been raped by a former lover. Or has she? With a wedding date looming, Sam fights to save their now fragile relationship, even while undertaking a desperate search to uncover Katie's secret past. Whispers become certainty, certainty becomes obsession and Sam must decide: How far is too far for love?," state press notes.

The cast includes: Daniel Eric Gold (The Paris Letter, Small Tragedy), Gillian Jacobs (the upcoming Adam Rapp film Blackbird) and Emily Cass McDonnell (Indoor/Outdoor, Aunt Dan and Lemon). The production team includes: John McDermott (sets), Erika Munro (costumes), Ed McCarthy (lights), and Eric Shim (sound).

Following the performance on Monday, June 5th, there will be "talk back" with Adam Rapp, Christopher Denham and the cast of cagelove, moderated by Stephan Paschalides, theater critic for flavorpill.com.

cagelove continues performances at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place, west of 7th Avenue between West 11th & Perry Streets), through Sunday, June 25th. The performance schedule is Monday through Saturday evenings at 8:00PM and Sunday afternoons at 3:00PM. There are no Tuesday performances.
